The Oxfordshire Enterprise Hub specialises in knowledge-based businesses with pioneering ideas and the services available are designed to meet the needs of businesses bringing innovative ideas to market. The Hub provides a range of services to help achieve this.
Hub services include;
- IP Advice - Available to businesses needing an overview of their commercial Intellectual Property (IP) position. Includes a free, 3 hour session providing specialist advice from an IP expert. Time can be used face-to-face, by phone or by email etc.
- Funding support - Access to an investment readiness programme that provides advice on sources of funding or support to maximise chances of raising finance. Advice on topics such as funding options, funding strategy and business planning is also available.
- Mentoring - Available for businesses that could benefit from mentoring. Support to include the following:
- Free unbiased dedicated support to share best practice in addition to the Hub Director.
- A valuable sounding board focused on the successful growth of the business.
- Raising profile of the business.
- Access to further network of mentors and contacts specialising in particular areas if necessary. - Customised Market Research – Available to businesses at any stage of development requiring bespoke market research, mailing lists or patent searches.
- Licensing advice – once there is a product to license we can help understand the pos and cons of licensing it.
- Creating partnerships/collaborations - we encourage our companies to work among themselves and for those early stage entrepreneurs to learn from more experienced ones.
- Help with working space - searching and helping businesses to find the right premises according to their needs.
