The British Small Business Champions (BSBC) Awards were launched by the Federation Of Small Businesses (FSB) in 2002. It is the only national awards scheme solely for small businesses. Its aims are to celebrate and highlight the profile of the UK’s small business sector.

As well as inviting entries across the UK from thriving businesses, this year, there are two additional categories –

• Young Entrepreneur, for individuals aged 21 and under at the time of entering
• Most Promising New Business, for businesses which were started after 1 November 2006.
